Visual / Hearing Impairment

Visual or hearing impairment can occur when extreme
light, sound or pressure affects one’s hearing or seeing
ability. This could be temporary or permanent, or start
minor and increase in severity over time due to damage.  
If you suspect possible damage, evaluations are simple and
can prevent some long term effects that can occur if
damage goes untreated.

This is a common issue for those who served and in many
cases relatively straightforward in treatment options.
Those who are most likely to be affected are those in or
close to explosions as well as those who worked on flight
lines in any capacity (pilots, supplies, maintenance, etc.).  
There are many other instances or jobs that could hurt the
ears or eyes as a result of service. If you or a loved one has
